How to Request a Quote
Federal agencies and their approved contractors can request a quote from Silotech Group under SEWP VI in either of two ways.
Through the NASA SEWP Quote Request Tool. The QRT is the recommended route and supports the Contracting Officer’s fair opportunity documentation. Select Silotech Group, or a Group that includes Silotech Group, and the request reaches us directly.

Copy [email protected] on any request that involves contract terms, teaming or a subcontracting requirement. Please include the items or capability required, quantities, the delivery location, and the date the quote is needed. A bill of materials is helpful but not required.
Silotech Group business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, excluding federal holidays. Business hours and business days below are counted against those hours.
What happens next. We acknowledge every request within four business hours. Standard commercially available requirements are quoted within two business days. Configured solutions, requirements needing manufacturer pricing or deal registration, and service requirements are quoted within five business days, and where that applies we tell you so at acknowledgement and commit to a date. Each quote states the period for which it is valid, normally 30 days, and Silotech Group honors any order placed within that period. If a requirement falls outside the scope of our contract we will say so promptly rather than let the clock run, and where appropriate we will ask the SEWP Program Office to review scope at [email protected].
Standard delivery under SEWP VI is within 30 calendar days of receipt and processing of the delivery order at the SEWP PMO, or within 30 calendar days of placement for credit card orders. Expedited delivery in under 30 days can be agreed with the ordering agency, and non-standard delivery schedules may be proposed on an individual item basis or at the time of quote.

Silotech Group supports every order placed under SEWP VI through delivery, installation, warranty and the life of the product.
Installation and Configuration
Installation, configuration and related product-based services are available under our Category B contract and are quoted with the order. Where installation is included, we coordinate the site, schedule and access requirements with the ordering agency point of contact before delivery. Basic Warranty
All items delivered carry the manufacturer’s standard commercial warranty, passed through to the Government in full. Under FAR 52.212-4(o), incorporated into this contract, Silotech Group warrants that items delivered are merchantable and fit for the particular purpose described in the contract. Extended Warranty
An extended warranty may be purchased at any time during the standard commercial warranty period, up to and including the last day of that period, and provides coverage based on the commercial warranty period. Extended warranty packages may be invoiced and paid at the start of the warranty period. At the Government’s discretion, monthly maintenance at a discounted monthly extended warranty amount may be ordered at any time during a warranty period in place of an extended warranty.
Software Maintenance and Support
Software maintenance and product extended warranty are provided as a commercial product unless priced on a usage basis. Software maintenance as a product includes bug and defect fixes issued as patches, updates and upgrades in function and technology to maintain the operability and usability of the product, together with any no-charge support included in the commercial purchase price, such as user forums, online help libraries, hosted chat and limited telephone, email or web-based general technical support for user self-diagnostics. Creation, design, implementation and integration of a software package are software maintenance as a service, are quoted separately and are billed monthly.

Technical support is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, excluding federal holidays. Any of the three reaches the support team. Support outside these hours is available where it is included in the order or in the manufacturer’s support agreement.
Delivery, Shipment and Acceptance
Standard delivery is within 30 calendar days as described above. Partial shipments are not accepted unless authorized on the delivery order or by the issuing Contracting Officer before the time of delivery. If an ordered item cannot be delivered within its delivery time, Silotech Group notifies the issuing Contracting Officer and the SEWP Program Management Office within two business days of receiving the order or of manufacturer notification of the expected delivery date, at which point the ordering agency may cancel the order or request due consideration for the delay.

What we do. We acknowledge the report within four business hours, confirm the facts with the manufacturer or carrier where relevant, and provide either a resolution or a written plan with dates within two business days.

Fair Opportunity
Fair Opportunity Requirements
NASA SEWP VI is a multiple-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).
Under FAR 16.505(b)(1), each contractor must be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for orders exceeding $10,000 issued under multiple-award contracts, subject to applicable requirements and exceptions.
The Contracting Officer determines the appropriate method for providing fair opportunity and is responsible for documenting the rationale for the order placement and price.
Clause A.1.13 of the SEWP VI contract, Fair Opportunity and Requests for Quotes, provides:
"Contractors will be provided a fair opportunity at the individual order level as appropriate per FAR Part 16.505(b), including the SEWP RFQ tools. No documentation for the order selection is required to be submitted with the order. All such documentation is to be maintained by the issuing procurement office."
Silotech Group further operates under the marketing and quoting restrictions in the same clause. We do not market, quote or otherwise offer for sale any IT solution that is not listed on our SEWP VI contract until it has been added to the SEWP database of record and is available to all Government end users. Where the Government issues a Request for Information as market research, we may include items not yet on contract only where they are clearly marked as not yet available on our SEWP contract and we have submitted a technology refreshment request to add them. Where the Government issues a Request for Quote or a Market Research Request, we respond only with items available on our contract, at no more than the price in the SEWP database of record at the time the quote is issued, and we respond fully to all requirements unless the request allows a partial quote.
Every quote we issue states the period for which it is valid, and Silotech Group honors any order placed within that period.
